Jonathan Cumberland is an illustrator, designer, and educator based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where he serves as an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at The University of Alabama. His work combines visual metaphor and wit to explore a wide range of subjects across editorial, publishing, and advertising assignments.

His work has been recognized by Graphis, AIGA, Scholastic, Creative Quarterly, the American Advertising Federation, and American Illustration.

Outside the studio, he is a devoted husband, proud father of two amazing daughters, and Chief Treat Dispenser to Franklin, the family dog.
